Today (Feb 7, 2025), I received a phone call that will stay with me for a long time. I get to start as the Chief of Staff for Finance.
Some guys dream of becoming a firefighter or a police officer. I’ve been dreaming for years of one day becoming Chief of Staff for Finance. That dream is now coming true.
After working almost every day for a year—from party congress to election program, from election campaign to 8 long months of dragging and pulling as a team formateur. With the ‘highlight’ being 72 hours in conclave followed by 36 hours of parliamentary debate.
Exhausted but oh so satisfied. The door of the Finance Cabinet will always be open for discussion and feedback with everyone. The fiscal coalition agreement is ambitious and challenging. But I am going to give it 300%!
